"In Flanders Fields" is considered perhaps the world's most famous war memorial poem composed by Lieutenant-Colonel John McCrae who served with Canadian Army Medical Corps. He had composed the poem at the battlefront 107 years ago, on 3 May 1915, during the Second Battle of Ypres, Belgium. The photograph shown is a commemorative panel part of Georgetown's (Prince Edward Island) War Memorial which include the complete text of McCrae's poem.
